At the end of the meal we decided to split a Pizookie, which is what this restaurant is known for. A Pizookie is a fresh-baked cookie topped with icecream served in a deep dish pizza pan. We had their peanut butter cookie topped with vanilla icecream, and it was delicious. It really hit the spot and was the perfect size to share.
I doubt we'll ever go to this restaurant again, but we still had a nice time. If you're looking for a bar atmosphere and are in the area you would probably enjoy this place.
I'm glad you at least had a pizookie. I honestly don't remember how the food is there, but the beers are actually pretty good, and obviously the pizookies are awesome. (I did get to try them out before the great sugar revelation of 2009.)

We did try one of their beers and it was quite good - the cream soda was amazing too. :)
ReplyDeleteI think we're just going back to Stanfords for the bday dinner - my family seems to enjoy it. I need a grandma-friendly restaurant: not too loud with "regular" food that she can identify. :) She didn't particularly enjoy the Thai restaurant last year...
